A MEETING OF STOKE PARISH COUNCIL
ON WEDNESDAY 10 OCTOBER 2018 AT 7.00 P.M.
AT THE VILLAGE HALL, MALLARD WAY,  LOWER STOKE
FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSACTING THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS

AGENDA

Part A. Public Discussion (not part of the meeting). Any member of the public may discuss any item. No motions may be proposed nor decisions taken, but matters raised by the public may be placed on the agenda for the next meeting if members wish.
Part B. Public Discussion on any agenda items. Reference Standing Order (3) e
 members of the public are permitted to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. This shall take place at this part of the meeting for a maximum duration of ½ hour. Following this members of the public are not permitted to speak or take any part in the business of the Parish Council.

  1.   Apologies for absence/present: (To receive any apologies for absence and     record attendance).
  2. Declarations of Interest either personal or prejudicial under the Code of Conduct for the meeting, plus alterations to the register. (a) Pecuniary interests. You must give written notice to the Council`s Clerk of any DPI within 28 days of taking office as a member or co-opted member or any changes to the reported one`s. (b) Significant interests. If you are present at a meeting and you know you have a DPI in any matter to be considered, you must disclose the existence and nature of the DPI at the start of the meeting, or when the interest becomes apparent, even if the DPI has already been registered. Significant Interests. Where your interest is closely aligned to the business of the Council agenda item and where the business affects the financial position or well-being of the following to a greater extent than most inhabitants of the area affected by the decision. Dispensation. Where you have a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest or other significant interest you may still be able to participate and/or vote at a meeting if you have obtained a dispensation from Medway Council.
  3. Minutes of the previous meeting 5 September 2018 from 1400:18. To 1418:18.
  4. Planning Applications registered for decisions by the Parish Council, and decision reports from Medway Council received.
  5. Correspondence – Reports and Circulars – As agreed now most sent via members email. Items will be placed on the agenda if requested.
  6. Monthly Accounts for payment, Cheque list, Standing Orders, Debit card use and Bank Balances, Budget Monitoring monthly report.  
  7. Representatives reports on outside bodies. Rural Liaison, KALC, and Police Pact.
  8. Play Parks Works & Contracts. This report provides an update on the condition of the parks.
  9. Web Site/IT stokeparishcouncil.org.uk. This report provides an update on the operation and usage. Copy of usage sent to all members.
  10. Highways & Transportation including footpaths, lighting, and pot holes, road & monitoring of verge condition, and fly tipping reports.
  11. J R Brickwork. Work Request Order.
  12. Village Hall report.
  13. wHoo cares. Request for a financial donation of £425.00.
  14. Tree Inspection report. Actions if any to be taken from the report.
  15. Clerks report.
  16. Review and suggested items for the next Village Voices edition.
  17. Any Other Business at the chairman’s discretion. No motions may be proposed nor decisions taken under this item but if members wish they may be agendered at the next meeting.
  18. Exclusion of Press & Public, due to the personal nature of the business to be conducted. Appointment of Parish Clerk.
  19. DATE OF NEXT MEETING.
  20. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 7 November 2018
